Scott Ford, M.Ed., has been in education and training for over 20 years. He is an adjunct professor at Lone Star College and currently a teacher at Atascocita High School.
Scott left a training management position in the corporate world to return to the classroom and fix a failing IT certification program. In his three years back, he developed full IT curricula for his students, wrote a textbook, and prepared students, faculty, staff, and community members for certification exams.
Scott earned his M.Ed. in Educational Technology from Texas A&M. He has developed and delivered training for K-12 schools, colleges, the FBI, DEA, federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, CompTIA, Chevron, the City of Houston, and more. Scott has also presented at national, state, and local educational conferences on a variety of educational technology topics. He has been married for 25 years and has two sons - one a graduate of AHS and the other a senior at AHS.
